Abstract:
Due to the high-value biocompounds that microalgae create, they are a viable and sustainable source of useful products, such as biofuels, including biogas, biomethane, ethanol, and biodiesel, given that they emit fewer harmful air pollutants than fossil fuels. Flue gases, liquid waste, or wastewater can all be used to make biofuels from microalgae at a reduced cost with a recognisable environmental impact. Since microalgae obtain their energy from sunlight, they require less energy than conventional systems, which also lowers the overall carbon emissions of the reclamation process.
