Abstract:
Toxoplasmosis remains one of the parasitic zoonotic diseases of worldwide distributions. 40 The disease could be critical among immunocompromised patients. Development of effective less 41 toxic drugs targets against the disease, particularly in its chronic form, remains out of reach. The 42 present study was designed to evaluate the effect of propolis and wheat germ oil as safe natural 43 product in reduction of Toxoplasma cysts in experimentally infected mice. For this purpose, five 44 groups (10 mice per each) were included in the present study as follows: Group 1: negative control 45 (non-infected and non-treated mice), Group 2: Positive control (infected untreated group); Group 3: 46 infected then treated with wheat germ oil (WGO) at a dose 0.2 mg/ 1.5 ml / kg.bw /day; Group 4:
