Abstract: The study focused on one of the most important journalistic phenomena that led to a significant change in journalistic practices, which is "television journalism". The study aimed to investigate how the applications of television journalism are employed in press coverage on Egyptian websites, in addition to identifying the availability of production capabilities for that type developed on Our Arab and Egyptian media, and the extent of reliance on modern technology in the production mechanisms of television journalism, the study was also interested in discovering the most important skills and requirements that television journalists need in addition to the challenges they face. The most important ones: 1- The seventh day’s video came in first place as the most productive newspaper in the study sample for television journalism, as the number of video clips published on the site’s television press channel reached (755) video clips, which is equivalent to (59%) of the sample size, which made it top the list The most productive video clips, followed by the Akhbar Al-Youm portal with (349) video clips (27,25%), and then in the third and final place Al-Wafd Gate with (176) video clips (with a rate of only 13.75%). 2- Television journalists emphasized the concept of television journalism as a move beyond filming video in television news, as it is another step beyond the methods of coverage that television has been accustomed to since its appearance, as it can become the next generation television. The study recommends the necessity of uniting the efforts of the state and the parliament, to find solutions to ensure that television journalists join a union entity, whether by establishing a new union entity, or by establishing a division in one of the former unions.
