The study aims to estimate time trend of tilapia production according to its sources. Estimate Seasonal Index of Tilapia fish production and prices. Estimate of price margins of tilapia fish. Determine the effect for the response of the wholesale price to changes in the consumer price of tilapia fish to evaluate the efficiency of marketing. Determine the effect of supply and demand on of the equilibrium price estimate. Study tilapia fry. The study based on published secondary data.The study used a descriptive and quantitative as analytical statistical methods. The results of the study showed that: tilapia production from natural fisheries was about 20.93% of total tilapia production in Egypt. The production of tilapia culture was about 79.07% of the total tilapia production in Egypt during the period (2000-2016).The production of tilapia fish civil farms is 85% of the tilapia production from tilapia culture fish in Egypt and about 67.31% of the tilapia production in Egypt, which means that the fish civil farms are the main source for the production of tilapia in Egypt. A seasonal price index showed the effect of tilapia production from culture, which appear in the months from October to February. Analysis of the performance of tilapia market showed that the market is affected by supply and demand. The analysis of the price efficiency of tilapia market showed that increasing the quantity of tilapia in the market decrease the consumer price. But the impact on marketing margin is weak because the demand of tilapia fish was increase in the market. It was found that the average farmer share of pound consumer was about 80.05%.The average broker share of consumer pounds was about 19.95%. The study of tilapia fry shows that the current production of tilapia requires more fry than advertised. The study recommended that necessary saving fry and suitable transport for fry and fish.
