The type of material used, whether natural or synthetic, affects the functional and comfort properties of head coverings, and the current research aims to study the effect of different weft materials on the functional properties of head coverings to reach the best weft type that achieves the functional properties of the fabrics produced under research by using double weaving and mixing materials In the weft thread to overcome the static electricity generated from the industrial raw materials available in the market, and suitable fabrics were produced for this goal. The specifications of the warp threads were fixed for all 100% polyester fabrics, while the weft materials were (100% cotton, polypropylene / cotton, polyester / cotton, 100% propylene, cotton / propylene) and a set of laboratory tests were conducted on fabrics (cloth thickness, square meter weight, static electricity, air permeability, water absorption time) and the results were statistically processed using ANOVA and LSD test for multiple comparisons. Double weave and mixing different materials achieve the functional properties of the headcovering and reduce static electricity.
