Our double-mesh technique in the repair of lumbar incisional hernia is a novel technique, is safe with no intra-abdominal injuries or collections, is easy to be performed in short time without difficulties, is a successful modality in solving the problem of recurrent lumbar incisional hernias and provides better results in short-termfollow-up without recurrence; however, longterm follow-up is needed to prove its efficacy.
