Abstract:
علم المعلوماتية الحيوية هو علم يستخدم الحاسب الألى والبرامج وقواعد البيانات لحل وشرح وتفسير العديد من التساؤلات البيولوجية ويتعامل هذا العلم مع مجموعة البيانات البيولوجية الهائلة الناتجة من المشروعات العلمية الكبيرة مثل مشروع الجينوم البشر
